Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries', which included the work Surrealistic Landscape by Hans Kanters. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Kanters - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Erotic landscape (triptych), which sold at auction in June 2004 for EUR 13,145.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries' durch, in der auch die Arbeit Surrealistic Landscape von Hans Kanters zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Kanters mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Erotic landscape (triptych) beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für EUR 13.145,00 versteigert wurde.
