In September 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Night parade by Hans Kanters. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,000.00 71% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Kanters - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Erotic landscape (triptych), which sold at auction in June 2004 for EUR 13,145.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 71 % übertroffen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Night parade von Hans Kanters zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.000,00 und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Kanters mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Erotic landscape (triptych) beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für EUR 13.145,00 versteigert wurde.
