Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work 'Terug Van Weggeweest' by Hans Kanters. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,120.00. Admittedly, works by Hans Kanters have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Erotic landscape (triptych) in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 13,145.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Terug Van Weggeweest' von Hans Kanters zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.120,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Kanters auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Erotic landscape (triptych) im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.145,00.
