Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work "Battersea Bridge, London", 1955 by Hans Hammarskiöld for SEK 8,500.00 (€ 830.93). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Hans Hammarskiöld have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Spanska ridskolan", 1952 in November 2020 with an auction result of SEK 44,000.00 (€ 4,301.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Battersea Bridge, London", 1955 von Hans Hammarskiöld für SEK 8.500,00 (€ 830,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Hammarskiöld auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Spanska ridskolan", 1952 im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 44.000,00 (€ 4.301,31).
