Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mother and child by Hans Bayens was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2000. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 6,436.10 (€ 2,746.38). Admittedly, works by Hans Bayens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Family in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mother and child von Hans Bayens wurde im Juni 2000 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 6.436,10 (€ 2.746,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Bayens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Family im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
