This artwork by Hans Bayens achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2009. In the Impressionist and Modern Art auction, the work Fietser met kind: bicyclist with child sold for EUR 8,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hans Bayens; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Family sold at auction in May 2011 with the realized price of EUR 13,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Bayens erzielte im November 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Fietser met kind: bicyclist with child für EUR 8.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hans Bayens; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Family im Mai 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 13.750,00.
