Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong, which included the work Untitled (Set of Three) by Hajime Sorayama. It changed hands for a price of HKD 21,420.00 (€ 2,465.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 12,000.00 – 24,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hajime Sorayama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 651,307.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Set of Three) von Hajime Sorayama zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 21.420,00 (€ 2.465,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 24.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hajime Sorayama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sexy Robot, Life Size Seating Model B im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 651.307,65).
