Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Guy Taplin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November 2021. In the British Country Life auction, the work Moorhen sold for GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,946.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy Taplin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twenty Spoonbills in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 16,450.00 (€ 26,886.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Guy Taplin erzielte im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British Country Life wurde die Arbeit Moorhen für GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.946,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guy Taplin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twenty Spoonbills im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.450,00 (€ 26.886,88).
