The work Four Dunlins by Guy Taplin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,537.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy Taplin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twenty Spoonbills in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 16,450.00 (€ 26,886.88).

Die Arbeit Four Dunlins von Guy Taplin kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.537,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guy Taplin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twenty Spoonbills im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.450,00 (€ 26.886,88).
