Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Vide-Poche) by Guy de Rougemont was sold in the Boundless: Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in January 2017. The price achieved of HKD 5,000.00 (€ 597.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy de Rougemont achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Occasional Nuage Table, Designed In 1972, Realised In 2006 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Vide-Poche) von Guy de Rougemont wurde im Januar 2017 in der Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 5.000,00 (€ 597,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guy de Rougemont erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Occasional Nuage Table, Designed In 1972, Realised In 2006 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
