In April 2018 Phillips in London held the auction Important Design, which included the work Rare ‘Nuage’ table lamp by Guy de Rougemont. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,388.93), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy de Rougemont achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Occasional Nuage Table, Designed In 1972, Realised In 2006 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Important Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rare ‘Nuage’ table lamp von Guy de Rougemont zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.388,93) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guy de Rougemont erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Occasional Nuage Table, Designed In 1972, Realised In 2006 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
