In November 2017 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Jacques Grange | Collectionneur, which included the work Unique Occasional Table, 2010 by Guy de Rougemont. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 18,750.00 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Guy de Rougemont have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Occasional Nuage Table, Designed In 1972, Realised In 2006 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Jacques Grange | Collectionneur durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unique Occasional Table, 2010 von Guy de Rougemont zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 18.750,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guy de Rougemont auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Occasional Nuage Table, Designed In 1972, Realised In 2006 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
