Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unique Occasional Table, 2010 by Guy de Rougemont was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 11,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy de Rougemont achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Occasional Nuage Table, Designed In 1972, Realised In 2006 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unique Occasional Table, 2010 von Guy de Rougemont kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 11.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guy de Rougemont erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Occasional Nuage Table, Designed In 1972, Realised In 2006 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
