Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Boundless: Contemporary Art, which included the work Golden Clover by Guy de Rougemont. The price achieved of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 13,434.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy de Rougemont achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Occasional Nuage Table, Designed In 1972, Realised In 2006 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Golden Clover von Guy de Rougemont zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 13.434,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guy de Rougemont erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Occasional Nuage Table, Designed In 1972, Realised In 2006 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
