Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Girl in the Tree by Guo Jin was sold in the Asia+ / First Open auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2015. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 8,256.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guo Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Performance No. 7 in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 193,000.00 (€ 122,113.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Girl in the Tree von Guo Jin wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Asia+ / First Open bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 8.256,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guo Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Performance No. 7 im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 193.000,00 (€ 122.113,26).
