The work Leaf No.6 by Guo Jin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The result of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,295.29) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guo Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Performance No. 7 in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 193,000.00 (€ 122,113.26).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Leaf No.6 von Guo Jin kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.295,29) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guo Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Performance No. 7 im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 193.000,00 (€ 122.113,26).
