Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Performance Series No.3 by Guo Jin was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 12,225.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guo Jin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Performance No. 7 in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 193,000.00 (€ 122,113.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Performance Series No.3 von Guo Jin wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 12.225,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guo Jin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Performance No. 7 im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 193.000,00 (€ 122.113,26).
