Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dawn No 15 by Guo Jin was sold in the Heatwave: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 19 - in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 10,160.00 (€ 10,160.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guo Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Performance No. 7 in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 193,000.00 (€ 122,113.26).

Die Arbeit Dawn No 15 von Guo Jin wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction bei Phillips in 19 - versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.160,00 (€ 10.160,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guo Jin erzielen.
