Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gunnel Wåhlstrand could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary auction, this work without title changed hands for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 8,614.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gunnel Wåhlstrand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "New Year's Day" in May 2014 with an auction result of SEK 3,600,000.00 (€ 394,574.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gunnel Wåhlstrand konnte im Mai 2016 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 8.614,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gunnel Wåhlstrand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "New Year's Day" im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 3.600.000,00 (€ 394.574,78).
