Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Evening dishes" by Gunnel Wåhlstrand was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2010. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 1,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 1,025,000.00 (€ 112,045.49). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gunnel Wåhlstrand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "New Year's Day", which sold at auction in May 2014 for SEK 3,600,000.00 (€ 394,574.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Evening dishes" von Gunnel Wåhlstrand kam im November 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 1.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 1.025.000,00 (€ 112.045,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Gunnel Wåhlstrand mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "New Year's Day" beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für SEK 3.600.000,00 (€ 394.574,78) versteigert wurde.
