A top price for Gunnel Wåhlstrand
In May 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary, which included the work "New Year's Day" by Gunnel Wåhlstrand. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 3,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 3,600,000.00 (€ 394,574.78). With this result, "New Year's Day" is even the most expensive work of art by Gunnel Wåhlstrand that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit "New Year's Day" von Gunnel Wåhlstrand zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 3.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 3.600.000,00 (€ 394.574,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist "New Year's Day" sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gunnel Wåhlstrand, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
