In May 2013 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Photographies, which included the work Lampropeltis Pyromelana + Lampropeltis Triangulum Sinaloae, 2002Ilfochrome Print. Signed, Titled, Dated And Numbered On A Label Affixed To The Back Of The Frame. Ed. 3/4+2 Ap. Diasec Mounted And Framed. by Guido Mocafico. It changed hands for a price of EUR 15,625.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guido Mocafico have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Serpens in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 92,500.00 (€ 116,298.04).

Im Mai 2013 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Photographies durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lampropeltis Pyromelana + Lampropeltis Triangulum Sinaloae, 2002Ilfochrome Print. Signed, Titled, Dated And Numbered On A Label Affixed To The Back Of The Frame. Ed. 3/4+2 Ap. Diasec Mounted And Framed. von Guido Mocafico zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 15.625,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 16.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guido Mocafico auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Serpens im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 92.500,00 (€ 116.298,04).
