Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Epicrates Cenchria Cenchria, 2002 by Guido Mocafico was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2019. The price achieved of EUR 13,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guido Mocafico have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Serpens in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 92,500.00 (€ 116,298.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Epicrates Cenchria Cenchria, 2002 von Guido Mocafico kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guido Mocafico auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Serpens im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 92.500,00 (€ 116.298,04).
