Signed, Titled, Dated And Numbered On A Label Affixed To The Back Of The Frame. Ed. 3/4 + 2 Ap. Diasec Mounted And Framed. by Guido Mocafico. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,625.00 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Guido Mocafico have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Serpens in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 92,500.00 (€ 116,298.04).

Im Mai 2013 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Photographies durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dendroaspis Viridis I, 2003Ilfochrome Print. Signed, Titled, Dated And Numbered On A Label Affixed To The Back Of The Frame. Ed. 3/4 + 2 Ap. Diasec Mounted And Framed. von Guido Mocafico zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 15.625,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guido Mocafico auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Serpens im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 92.500,00 (€ 116.298,04).
