Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Travelers Among Mountains by Guan Si was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2013. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,850.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guan Si achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poetic Gathering in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 4,720,000.00 (€ 555,446.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Travelers Among Mountains von Guan Si kam im September 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.850,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guan Si erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poetic Gathering im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.720.000,00 (€ 555.446,09).
