Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Guan Si achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2015. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Snowscape sold for USD 56,250.00 (€ 52,369.43) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guan Si achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poetic Gathering in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 4,720,000.00 (€ 555,446.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Guan Si erzielte im März 2015 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Snowscape für USD 56.250,00 (€ 52.369,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guan Si erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poetic Gathering im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.720.000,00 (€ 555.446,09).
