Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Snowscape by Guan Si was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. The result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 20,834.68) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guan Si achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poetic Gathering in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 4,720,000.00 (€ 555,446.09).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Snowscape von Guan Si kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 20.834,68) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guan Si erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poetic Gathering im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.720.000,00 (€ 555.446,09).
