Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forrested Hills With Clouds by Guan Si was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 747,500.00 (€ 69,522.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guan Si have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poetic Gathering in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 4,720,000.00 (€ 555,446.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Forrested Hills With Clouds von Guan Si wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 747.500,00 (€ 69.522,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guan Si auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poetic Gathering im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.720.000,00 (€ 555.446,09).
