Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscapes After Ancient Masters by Gu Yun. The price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,901.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gu Yun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reminiscence Of Hometown in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 132,790.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes After Ancient Masters von Gu Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.901,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gu Yun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reminiscence Of Hometown im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 132.790,27).
