Album of twelve leaves, ink on paper, the final leaf with an artist's inscription dated gengyin, with a dedication to Langfu, and signed Ruobo, with a total of 14 artist's seals reading Ruobo, Ruobo, Yunhu, Gu Yun si yin, Ruobo Huayin, Gu Yun, Gu Yun and Gu Yun.
10 7/8 x 12 1/4in (27.6 x 31cm), each leaf (12).

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Bonhams in New York held the auction The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale, which included the work Landscapes, 1890 by Gu Yun. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,528.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reminiscence Of Hometown in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 132,790.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes, 1890 von Gu Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.528,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reminiscence Of Hometown im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 132.790,27).
