In April 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work River Pavilion By Willows; Vegetables by Gu Yun. The auction ended at the price of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,693.06), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 24,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reminiscence Of Hometown in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 132,790.27).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit River Pavilion By Willows; Vegetables von Gu Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.693,06) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 24.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reminiscence Of Hometown im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 132.790,27).
