The work Studio Amidst Lush Mountains by Gu Yun was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,150.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Admittedly, works by Gu Yun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reminiscence Of Hometown in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 132,790.27).

Die Arbeit Studio Amidst Lush Mountains von Gu Yun wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.150,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gu Yun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reminiscence Of Hometown im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 132.790,27).
