Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gu Yun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Riverside Studio In The Mist sold for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 35,770.09) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gu Yun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reminiscence Of Hometown, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 132,790.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gu Yun erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Riverside Studio In The Mist für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 35.770,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gu Yun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reminiscence Of Hometown beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 132.790,27) versteigert wurde.
