A top price for Gregory Crewdson - as previously expected
The work The Dream House Portfolio by Gregory Crewdson was sold in the Contemporary Art Day auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. The price achieved of USD 169,000.00 (€ 115,059.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Dream House Portfolio is the most expensive artwork by Gregory Crewdson that we have observed at auctions so far.
