Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Gong Xian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 14,695,000.00 (€ 1,634,615.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000,000.00 – 18,000,000.00. Other works by Gong Xian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2015 the work Dwelling In Seclusion Amid Rivers And Mountains was auctioned for USD 2,410,000.00 (€ 2,243,738.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Gong Xian kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 14.695.000,00 (€ 1.634.615,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000.000,00 – 18.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Gong Xian konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2015 die Arbeit Dwelling In Seclusion Amid Rivers And Mountains für USD 2.410.000,00 (€ 2.243.738,94) versteigert.
