Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Angolo Segreto by Giuseppe Santomaso was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 81,900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Santomaso - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Settembre alla mancia, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 273,915.20.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Angolo Segreto von Giuseppe Santomaso kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 81.900,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Santomaso mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Settembre alla mancia beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 273.915,20 versteigert wurde.
