The work Composition - 1979 by Giuseppe Santomaso was sold in the Prints & Multiples Online auction at Artcurial in October last year. It achieved a price of EUR 131.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Santomaso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Settembre alla mancia in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 273,915.20.

Die Arbeit Composition - 1979 von Giuseppe Santomaso wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online bei Artcurial versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 131,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Santomaso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Settembre alla mancia im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 273.915,20.
