Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Toccata e fuga by Giuseppe Santomaso was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 38,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Santomaso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Settembre alla mancia in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 273,915.20.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Toccata e fuga von Giuseppe Santomaso wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 38.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Santomaso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Settembre alla mancia im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 273.915,20.
