The work Sogni d’estate by Giuseppe Santomaso was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in November 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 65,000.00 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Santomaso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Settembre alla mancia in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 273,915.20.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sogni d’estate von Giuseppe Santomaso wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 65.000,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Santomaso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Settembre alla mancia im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 273.915,20.
