Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Muro del pescatore by Giuseppe Santomaso. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Santomaso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Settembre alla mancia in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 273,915.20.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Muro del pescatore von Giuseppe Santomaso zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.600,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Santomaso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Settembre alla mancia im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 273.915,20.
