Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Senza titolo by Giuseppe Penone was auctioned at Christies in Milan in December last year. It achieved a price of EUR 9,450.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Penone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Idee di pietra in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,325,000.00 (€ 1,205,202.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Giuseppe Penone kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.450,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Penone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Idee di pietra im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.325.000,00 (€ 1.205.202,84).
