Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Senza titolo by Giuseppe Penone for EUR 3,276.00. This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Penone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Idee di pietra in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,325,000.00 (€ 1,205,202.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Senza titolo von Giuseppe Penone für EUR 3.276,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Penone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Idee di pietra im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.325.000,00 (€ 1.205.202,84).
