This work without title by Giorgio Cavallon was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2008. It achieved a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,053.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giorgio Cavallon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunday Morning in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 118,310.10).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Giorgio Cavallon kam im Januar 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.053,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giorgio Cavallon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunday Morning im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 118.310,10).
