This artwork by Giorgio Cavallon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2011. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Morning Session auction, the work without title sold for USD 50,000.00 (€ 34,780.19) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giorgio Cavallon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunday Morning, which sold at auction in September 2018 for USD 137,500.00 (€ 118,310.10).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giorgio Cavallon erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Morning Session wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 50.000,00 (€ 34.780,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Giorgio Cavallon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunday Morning beobachtet, die im September 2018 für USD 137.500,00 (€ 118.310,10) versteigert wurde.
