The price achieved of USD 625.00 (€ 551.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gillian Wearing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait at 17 Years Old (from Album) in May last year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 58,708.41).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 625,00 (€ 551,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gillian Wearing erzielen.
