The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,940.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gillian Wearing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-Portrait at 17 Years Old (from Album) in May last year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 58,708.41).
