Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flower in Water, 7931, 2012 by Gilles Bensimon was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,574.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Gilles Bensimon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Elle and Friends Number 3 was auctioned for GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,822.70).

Die Arbeit Flower in Water, 7931, 2012 von Gilles Bensimon wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.574,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gilles Bensimon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Elle and Friends Number 3 für GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.822,70) versteigert.
