In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Elle and Friends 2', 1987 by Gilles Bensimon. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,930.00 (€ 8,136.47), 26% above the upper estimate. Other works by Gilles Bensimon have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,822.70) in May last year for the work Elle and Friends Number 3.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Elle and Friends 2', 1987 von Gilles Bensimon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 8.136,47) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Gilles Bensimon haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.822,70) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Elle and Friends Number 3 beobachtet.
