Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Sans titre by Gerwald Rockenschaub was worth EUR 6,120.00 to a buyer in December last year. This price was achieved in the auction Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours1918-2021 at Bonhams in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Gerwald Rockenschaub have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2006 with an auction result of GBP 22,800.00 (€ 32,906.84).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Gerwald Rockenschaub war einem Käufer im Dezember letzten Jahres EUR 6.120,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours1918-2021 bei Bonhams in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerwald Rockenschaub auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.800,00 (€ 32.906,84).
