The work Jimi Classic by Gered Mankowitz was auctioned at Phillips in London in November 2011. It achieved a price of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,566.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gered Mankowitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jimi Hendrix, Smoking - 1967 in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 67,600.00.

Die Arbeit Jimi Classic von Gered Mankowitz kam im November 2011 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.566,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gered Mankowitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jimi Hendrix, Smoking - 1967 im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 67.600,00.
